"The Bus" made his last stop the best one of all. Running back extraordinaire and surefire future NFL Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis had spent his 13-year-long career in pursuit of one elusive thing: a ring, a Super Bowl ring. And on February 5, 2006, he finally got it, as the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 21-10 in Super Bowl XL. During the post-game festivities, with his mission accomplished and as his family, teammates, fans and millions of television viewers worldwide looked on, Bettis announced that he was officially retired. Now embarking on the next phase of his career, Bettis will be a studio analyst for NBC's Sunday night football telecasts. Jerome Bettis has hand signed this authentic, full-size Pittsburgh Steelers helmet.
